Label the page References centered at the top. Double space the entire list. Every line after the first line of a citation should be indented one-half inch from the left margin (also known as hanging indentations). Alphabetize your entire bibliography list.
Add the annotation on the next line below the citation. Further indent the annotation two more spaces (for a total of four spaces). For further help, see this guide on how to do an annotated bibliography.
Note that on EasyBib, when clicking the export to Word button, EasyBib will format your works cited list alphabetized and indented ready to hand in!
An MLA works cited page is formatted a little differently. There are other EasyBib guides pages to review if you’re trying to cite websites in MLA (along with other sources), or create MLA in text & parenthetical citations.
