Once you’ve chosen a topic, gotten a sense of the scope of your paper, and poked around a bit on the Internet, the next step is to take a deep dive…research.

There is a lot of information out there. The trouble is accessing it all and sifting through the mounds and mounds of data to pick out the nuggets of good, credible information. Furthermore, it’s important to make sure that you’re using the correct types of sources for your paper. Consider that you may want several different types of sources to make your paper more robust.

Everyone likes to research a bit differently. That’s OK. There’s no one right or wrong way to research.
